STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The black-on-white theme at the bar and dining room of The Parlor make it a striking new spot on the food-scape. The color scheme forms the backdrop for colorful, zesty Italian fare — pizza included — at 2009 Victory Boulevard.
Welcome to The Parlor on this episode of The Dish. Seasoned restaurateurs Carmine Gualtieri and his partners, brother Chris, and Mike LiDonni struck up the handsome digs from a former dry cleaning store. This corner venue at Victory Boulevard and Jewett Avenue is a spin off of their flagship endeavor in Annadale called simply The Pizza Parlor (PizzaParlorNYC.com.)
