Denver-area NBC stations back on Dish after months-long absence - The Denver Post

KUSA-Channel 9 and KTVD-Channel 20 are are available once again for Dish satellite-TV subscribers.

Tegna Inc., owner of the two Denver TV stations, announced Friday that it has reached a new “carriage agreement” with Dish, ending an absence dating to October.

“We are pleased to announce that we have reached a new agreement with DISH, restoring our valuable and important live local news, live local and national sports and highly popular network content to DISH TV subscribers,” said Lynn Beall, an executive with Tegna, in a news release. “We appreciate the patience of our viewers while we worked toward reaching an agreement.”

The agreement includes retransmission consent for all 64 TEGNA-owned stations.

Tegna is an publicly traded broadcast, digital media and marketing services company headquartered in Virginia. Publicly traded Dish is headquartered in Englewood.
