When it comes to our favourite flavours, Biscoff has to be way, way up there.

Lotus Biscoff is so versatile – especially Biscoff spread – so I guess maybe we shouldn’t be so surprised that someone has managed to make a cake using Biscoff spread and just two other ingredients. Yup, this woman has made a three-ingredient Biscoff cake and it’s blowing our minds.

The cake, which was made by @fitwafflekitchen, contains juts three things: Biscoff spread, eggs and baking powder. That’s it. That’s everything. That’s all the ingredients you need to make this moist, super-yummy cake.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Ellie – who runs the @fitwafflekitchen account – says: “I am so blown away by how well this turned out! You literally only need Biscoff spread, baking powder and eggs. It’s super quick and easy to make and it’s soo moist and Biscoff-y."

She has also shared the exact amounts of ingredients needed, plus instructions on how to make the cake.

Biscoff cake ingredients

• 400g Biscoff spread, melted + 125g for the topping
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• 2 large eggs

To make the cake, all you have to do is mix the ingredients together, pour the mixture into a greased and lined cake tin and bake in a pre-heated oven at 160°c (fan) for 30 minutes, or until a cocktail stick or skewer comes out clean.

She also adds that you can use crumbled up Biscoff biscuits to decorate the cake, but that does then mean you’re looking at a four-ingredient cake instead of a three-ingredient cake, so that’s really up to you…
