Brave amatuer chefs have revealed their hilarious baking fails online - and they're sure to make you feel a little more confident when you next step into the kitchen.    

Taking to the Reddit thread Cake Fails, social media users from around the world showcased their very worst attempts at baking - including melted snowman cookies and a very questionable Homer Simpson design.

Some of the home bakers even shared the professional snaps their attempts were modelled off - making the difference even more obvious.

Here FEMAIL looks at the most entertaining baking fails to date - and they don't disappoint.
