Scene… Planet Pizza officially opened at its new location at 139 West Putnam Ave. in Greenwich on Friday. The pizzeria operated at its former location at 28 Railroad Ave. but relocated because of the impending train station redevelopment plans.

Out there… Norwalk Seaport Association’s 45th annual Norwalk Oyster Festival takes place at Veteran’s Memorial Park on Friday through Sept. 10. The event will feature food and entertainment, including Gary LeVox, lead singer of Rascal Flatts, on Saturday evening and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band on Sept. 10.
