Harrisburg, IL (WSIL) -- Fran and Friends Resale shop in Harrisburg has free "cake kits" to anyone in need.
The kits have everything you need to bake a cake. That includes the pan, cake mix and decorations. Store Manager Lisa Knight, said she came up with the idea just as a way to put a little sunshine back in people's lives.
"We wanted to give back to the community that has given us so much and it's just our way of saying thank you and things are going to get better." said Lisa Knight, Manager of Fran and Friends Resale Shop.
If you need a cake kit, you can stop by Fran and Friends Monday through Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
If you'd like to help out, they are also accepting donations.
