Mason documented the entire process in a now-viral TikTok, which currently has 3.3 million (and counting) views.
The clip features a time-lapse of how the cake came together. The video begins with Mason arranging multiple cake tiers to resemble the shape of Prince Harry and Markle’s bodies, which are topped with printouts of their faces. From there, she places sheet cake after sheet cake on the display before sculpting the dessert into the desired silhouette.
The last step includes applying fondant and modeling chocolate, which double as their clothes. (Mason opted to recreate a photo that was taken at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s engagement announcement back in 2017.)
The caption read, “CC: Sorry, what? You want a life-size cake of Harry and Meghan? I mean I could give it a try…” Not only did Mason try, but she also knocked it out of the park (in our humble opinion).
Still, one question remains: Does the cake taste as good as it looks?
