If your mum ever baked you a Maltesers cake for your birthday, you’ll know how GODDAMN delicious Maltesers cakes can be. But, it’s not every day you have the energy or reason to bake a full cake – despite wanting to.

So, lucky for us, Maltesers has launched brand-new Maltesers cake bars, and they sound so incredibly delicious.

The new Maltesers cake bars are made up of a light malty sponge (yum), topped with a malt flavoured cream containing Maltesers pips (erm, YUM), all covered in a layer of chocolate (YUM YUM YUM).

Seriously, what’s not to love?

These perfect-for-lunch-boxes Maltesers cake bars are available now in Morrisons, Tesco and One Stop, and will be on sale in Sainsbury’s and Co-op stores from 11th January, and Asda from 18th January 18. A pack of five individually wrapped cake bars will set you back £1.65.

The delicious Easter treats were spotted in a One Stop shop by @newfoodsuk, who shared a photo of them on Instagram with a caption that included two shocked face emojis and the one with heart eyes, and yeah, that’s how we feel too.

No word on whether you can find these white chocolate Maltesers Bunnies in other shops yet, so best you just hotfoot it to your nearest One Stop immediately.
