Funnel cakes have returned to the Universal Studios Florida food trucks with an upgrade. Not only have the size of the funnel cakes have increased, but so has the price. Among these new holiday-themed funnel cakes is the “nutty turtle.”
This funnel cake is covered in caramel and chocolate sauce, with large pieces of chopped pecans, powdered sugar, and whipped cream.
There is a perfect balance of caramel and chocolate.
There’s no shortage of whipped cream.
The dessert is sweet but not too sweet.
The pecan pieces are large, so if you’re splitting with someone that doesn’t like nuts, it’s easy to see and remove them. They were our favorite part though!
