Buddy Valastro, owner of Carlo's Bake Shop, in Hoboken, New Jersey, and featured on TLC's reality show, Cake Boss, has unveiled a cake ATM express kiosk in Mississauga, Canada's Square One Shopping Center.
The kiosk is bright red with gold lettering and boasts a photo of Valastro on one side and the bakery's name on the front, according to a Mississauga News report.
The self-automated ATM is stocked daily to ensure freshness and offers seven varieties of popular cake slices, from cookies and cream to red velvet, carrot cake and rainbow fudge, among others.
Valastro's ATMs have been tested throughout Canada, including Toronto. This is the first cake ATM in Mississauga. Depending on its popularity, the ATM may sell full cakes at some point instead of just slices.
To purchase a slice, customers tap or swipe an ATM debit or credit card and choose a selection. Slices begin at $9.99.
